The Office of Teaching, Learning, and Technology at Bay City Public Schools organizes and oversees all district-wide, state, and national evaluations. Our teachers employ a variety of assessments to nurture students' academic progress. Assessment data are utilized by school leaders and staff to refine teaching methods and guarantee our curriculum meets or exceeds state and national standards.

NWEA MAP Assessments
Bay City Public Schools uses the NWEA Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) assessments in kindergarten through 8th grade. These assessments yield valuable data that enable teachers to support and track student progress aligned with year-end curriculum standards. When integrated with other classroom performance indicators, the MAP assessments serve as a powerful instrument to facilitate academic development for all students throughout their educational journey.
