New Health Insurance Marketplace Coverage Options and Your Health Coverage

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan (BCBSM), ADN Dental/Vision: Central Office Administrators, BCASA-Administrators, Mechanics, Bus Drivers, Supervisors, School Service Workers, Technicians, and Individual Contracts (if applicable). The District paid premium for health insurance shall be 80% of BCBSM option 3. All enrolled employees under BCBSM and ADN Dental/Vision by contract agreements are contributing 20% of the BCBSM option 3 health insurance premium cost for either a single, two-person or full family coverage. If the employee selects one of the offered health insurance options other than the BCBSM option 3, and the option is at a higher cost, the employee is responsible for 100% of the differential cost between the plan selected and the BCBSM option 3, in addition to the 20% of the BCBSM option 3. The District contribution shall not exceed 90% of the State Level Caps statutorily in place pursuant to PA 152.

McLaren Health Plan, ADN Dental/Vision: BCESP Secretaries/Educational Assistants, Maintenance/Custodial, and Food Service. The District paid premium for health insurance shall be 80% of the Custom 4 Plan. All enrolled employees under McLaren Health Plan and ADN Dental/Vision by contract agreements are contributing 20% of the Custom 4 Plan health insurance premium cost for either a single, two-person or full family coverage. If the employee selects one of the offered health insurance options other than the Custom 4 Plan, and the option is at a higher cost, the employee is responsible for 100% of the differential cost between the plan selected and the Custom 4 Plan, in addition to the 20% of the Custom 4 Plan. The District contribution shall not exceed 90% of the State Level Caps statutorily in place pursuant to PA 152.
